KOSTAL PIKO 3.0

Kostal, PIKO 3.0

KOSTAL Solar Electric GmbH is the most recent offshoot of a family-run company almost 100 years old - the KOSTAL Group. Since 1998, KOSTAL Industrie Elektrik has already been developing and producing component groups and complete units for solar module connection technology, as well as inverters. For this reason, KOSTAL Solar Electric GmbH was founded under the umbrella of this KOSTAL company as a distribution company for own-brand “PIKO” inverters at the end of 2006.
Reliability does not just mean considering the future – when it comes to installing and operating your PIKO inverter, reliability is of utmost importance here too! This principle is continuously applied – from development right the way through to production and delivery.
Operation of the PIKO is based on the so-called string concept – a limited number of solar modules (depending on the desired output and taking into account the maximum input voltage) are connected in series as a string, which is linked to the inverter.
